If you have no knowledge of football, but you still want to place a bet, betting on corners is for you. Fun fact to start with is that on average more than 10 corners are taken in a match.
Because there are quite a few options when betting on corners, we will explain them to you.

Total Number of Corners
Before the match you can bet on how many corners there will be in a match. Difficult to predict, but there are also more predictable bets on corners.

3-Way Bets on Corners
Here the bookmaker chooses a certain number of corners, for example 10. You can now bet whether there will be fewer, equal or more corners in the match.
For an equal number you will of course get paid a lot because it is almost impossible to predict.

How Many Corners in the First 10 Minutes
Here you can guess how many corners there will be in the first 10 minutes of the match.
So you have the same bet for the first 10 minutes before half-time or for the last 10 minutes of the game.

Over/Under Bet with Corners
Since 10 corners are average in matches, you will also find the bet under/over 10.5 corners at the bookmakers.
Because there are no half corners, you cannot draw with this bet.

Which Half Has the Most Corners
Here you also have 3 options. 1st half, 2nd half or both halves have the same number of corners.
Who Will Be the First to Get 3 Corners
Another variation on the corner bet. You bet on who gets 3 corners first.

Alternative Corners
The average of 10.5 is not taken here, but for example over/under 19.5. The odds for over will get higher and the odds for lower will go down.

Corners Range
Here you bet on the total number of corners in a match. The bookmaker will let the players choose from four or five different ranges. Each range has its individual odds, such as 0-5, 6-8, 9-12, 12-14 and 14+.

First or Last Corner
Here you can bet on who gets the first or last corner in a match. It is of course gambling and the odds are usually not that favorable.

Live Betting on Corners
You can also bet live on who gets the next corner. Very exciting, and it certainly gives an extra dimension to watching a football match.
In live betting you can bet on who gets the last corner as well. In the final phase, the odds will therefore always change.

Corners with a Handicap
If Ajax plays against Emmen, the bookmakers do not expect as many corners for Ajax as for Emmen. They can then set a handicap for Ajax of, for example, -4 or -5.
You can still choose who to bet on. The odds will only be closer together due to the handicap used.
