Aces and Eights is another poker variation played between the player and the dealer. It uses a typical card deck of 52 cards. The game is inspired by Jacks or Better variation, with higher payouts for certain combinations. Its rules are straightforward and players can learn more about it by checking the following review.

Choose the Amount of the Bet

As soon as you start with Aces and Eights Video Poker, you need to select the amount of your bet.

Just select the value of each coin and how many coins you want to play with (up to five). Players are recommended to play with 5 coins whenever they can afford it. Aces and Eights Video Poker provides an enhanced payout when using all 5 coins.

After placing an initial bet, make sure to press the deal button and receive the first five cards from the deck. If you are satisfied with the dealt cards, you can keep them all or just some of them. Players will generally select the cards which have the highest winning chances.

If you are not satisfied with the dealt cards, you can select some of them for removal. Just click on the cards you want to hold and they will stay the same in the next deal.

Once you press the draw button, you will see a replacement for removed cards. At the same time, received cards together with the current one will form your final hand.

The final hand can be winning if you meet the requirements for the payment. The minimum combo to qualify for the payment is a hand of Pair of Jacks or better. More information about payout is available below:

  • Royal Flush pays 250, 500, 750, 1,000 or4,000 for 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 coins respectively
  • Straight Flush pays 50, 100, 150, 200, or 250 for 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 coins respectively
  • 4 of a Kind A or 8 pays 80, 160, 240, 320, or 400 for 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 coins respectively
  • 4 of a Kind 7 pays 50, 100, 150, 200, or 250 for 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 coins respectively
  • 4 of a Kind others pays 25, 50, 75, 100, or 125 for 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 coins respectively
  • Full House pays 8, 16, 24, 32, or 40 for 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 coins respectively 
  • Flush pays 5, 10, 15, 20 or 25 for 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 coins respectively
  • Straight pays 4, 8, 12, 16 or 20 for 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 coins respectively
  • 3 of a Kind pays 3, 6, 9, 12, or 15 for 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 coins respectively
  • 2 Pair pays 2, 4, 6, 8, or 10 for 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 coins respectively
  • Jacks or Better pays 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 for 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 coins respectively
